Lincolnshire Low Carbon Network is committed to promoting a low carbon economy based on sustainable consumption and production. The aim of the network is to facilitate collaboration between members in order to promote and develop the environmental economy for the benefit of the whole community. Why join Lincolnshire Low Carbon Network Reducing energy costs and therefore saving money is a key driver for business and the public sector to cut carbon emissions. For some, particularly large organisations, it is becoming increasingly important to understand and manage the opportunities and risks associated with carbon emissions in the longer term. Hutton waves ahead tidal energy project in the Humber 8 Apr

The UK is continuing to lead the world in marine renewables technology as the Secretary of State for Energy, John Hutton, grants planning permission for a prototype tidal stream generator to be tested in the Humber Estuary near Grimsby.
